Hi, I’m Brenna, the dreamer behind Happy Joyful Home where I share creative DIY home projects and design on a budget, fun kids activities and experiments, and helpful tips for a happy home. I’m excited to love to share with you!
A little about me…I live in Fort Collins with my family after growing up a military brat and living all over the world. Currently I am a wife, a mother, blogger, and entrepreneur. Eben is my beautiful, adventurous, amazing little 5-year-old boy who brings so much joy to my heart. His name means Rock [of] God’s love and we feel so blessed to have him in our lives.
I am also the mommy of five little babies who never got to see the light of day on this side of heaven. Within a year and a half, we experienced two miscarriages, the stillbirth of our daughter and the stillbirths of twin boys.
These losses quickly reshaped and reinvigorated the vision for my life and my family’s future. I decided to do what I love and help bring joy and beauty to others through what I do. Hence, this blog AND my small business.
After the stillbirth of our daughter Maia the summer of 2016, I started a business, Ravensnap, as a creative outlet selling unique earrings and jewelry.
