We are so blessed to have a whole room right off of our kitchen we can dedicate to Eben’s Lego room/makerspace/craft room/whatever he wants to call it any given day. I can’t wait to share this makeover with you! Lego Room Makeover Here is the space before. It is technically a formal dining room. When we bought the house it had dark orangish-red walls, giraffe patterned curtains, a low hanging light fixture and carpet. IKEA IVAR Cabinet Makeover
So, we have A LOT of games. At 5-years-old, my “little” guy is already 4’3” (wowsers!) so I wanted to add some height to … [Read more...]
Starry Night Sky Kids Ceiling with Glow in the Dark Stickers
Ever since my little guy was just a babe he would enjoy us taking him outside before bedtime to look at the stars in the dark night sky. So, when we moved from Missouri to Colorado, I set out to capture that starry sky for him every night as he closes his eyes to go to sleep. Night Sky Ceiling Project So, I picked out a really dark blue grayish paint (mine is Gotham Gray by Valspar), taped off the top of my walls, took a deep breath (painting a ceiling a totally different color is a … [Read more...]
